How much does MobiLoud cost per month, and what does each plan include?

MobiLoud costs $799 a month on Growth, or $719 a month billed annually, with 5,000 monthly active users included. Business is $1,499 a month, or $1,349 billed annually, with 10,000 included. Enterprise is priced on usage and scope. Every plan includes native iOS and Android apps and ongoing maintenance.

What costs extra beyond MobiLoud's subscription?

Outside the MobiLoud subscription, you pay Apple $99 a year and Google a one-time $25 for developer accounts in your name, which need a D-U-N-S number. OneSignal bills you directly above 1,000 monthly active users. New native features and vendor SDK integrations are quoted separately and approved by you in advance.

How does MobiLoud count active users, and how do growth or seasonal spikes affect my bill?

MobiLoud counts a monthly active user as a unique device that opens the app in a 30-day window. Downloads do not count, and two devices count as two. Above the included users, Growth bills $100 and Business $50 per extra 1,000. Usage is reviewed quarterly against the previous three months, so a seasonal peak does not move the price alone.

Will my checkout, payment options, logins, loyalty tools and custom website features work in a MobiLoud app?

Yes. MobiLoud builds the app on your existing website, so your checkout, customer accounts, loyalty, reviews, subscriptions and integrations work in the app. That includes custom features such as product configurators, custom checkouts and unique payment gateways. The rule is simple: if a feature works in your mobile browser, MobiLoud can bring it into the app.

How long does MobiLoud take from sign-up to launch on both stores, and can we launch before our holiday peak?

MobiLoud usually takes about two to four weeks to get your app live, including Apple and Google store review, which typically takes seven to ten days. You get a working preview app by week two. To hit a peak, register your developer accounts right after signing up and schedule launch marketing once both stores approve the app.

How does MobiLoud compare with Tapcart, other template app builders and custom app development?

MobiLoud is a full-service team that designs, builds, launches and maintains your app on a single codebase, so the app updates with your website automatically. Your app is not limited to fixed templates, and design and development support varies by plan. Compared with custom development, MobiLoud launches in weeks at a fraction of the cost.

Are push notifications included in MobiLoud's price, or do they cost extra?

MobiLoud includes push notifications in every plan. The OneSignal SDK comes in your app, you can send as many notifications as you like, and cart abandonment push is included. Business adds pre-configured welcome and inactive-user flows. If you use OneSignal, you pay OneSignal directly once the app passes 1,000 monthly active users.

What's MobiLoud's contract length, when does billing start, and can we pay monthly, annually or by invoice?

MobiLoud bills monthly by default, and paying a year upfront takes 10% off the recurring fee. Payment for the first period is due at sign-up. You can pay by card, and invoices, bank transfer or purchase orders are available on agreed terms. If you are not on a contract, you can cancel with 30 days' notice.

What do we own with MobiLoud, and what happens if we cancel or build a custom app later?

Your developer accounts, listings, ratings and install base remain yours, and so do your push and analytics accounts. MobiLoud keeps the platform the app runs on. When the subscription ends, the MobiLoud app is removed or replaced with another vendor's app. A custom app built later ships as an update to the same listing.

What results can we expect from MobiLoud, and is there evidence it pays for itself?

Results vary by store, so MobiLoud publishes case studies rather than promises. In four of them, the app brings in 18% to 63% of online revenue: Tadashi Shoji 18%, MASC 20%, Kiokii 35% and Pharmazone 63%. MobiLoud's price is a monthly subscription that scales with monthly active users, reviewed each quarter against the previous three months.

Do we need a separate CMS, or does the MobiLoud app update automatically with our website?

You do not need a separate CMS. MobiLoud builds the app on your website, so your team keeps managing one site and the app picks up product, collection and content changes automatically. There is no second codebase to maintain, and MobiLoud's team handles the app-side setup, releases and maintenance for you.

Will a MobiLoud app be slower than a fully native app?

A MobiLoud app loads as fast as your mobile website, because its loading times are identical to your site's. If your mobile site is fast, the app is fast too. The app adds native tab bars, navigation, gestures and push notifications, and MobiLoud's team gives guidance on improving performance if your site needs it.

Does MobiLoud build and maintain the app, and what work does our team need to do?

Yes. MobiLoud is a fully managed service: the team designs, builds, submits and maintains your app, including iOS, Android and app store updates. Your team registers the Apple and Google developer accounts, reviews the designs, tests the app and gives feedback. On Growth and Business, your web team creates any new pages, with MobiLoud's guidance and coordination.

How can we track MobiLoud app sales separately from website sales?

Every MobiLoud plan includes GA4 and Firebase analytics in your own Google account, so app activity is measured apart from your website. Business adds custom Databox dashboards that compare app engagement, push performance and app against mobile web. Enterprise adds Adjust or AppsFlyer to tie installs and in-app revenue to the Meta and Google campaigns behind them.

Can we offer products, discounts and content exclusively in our MobiLoud app?

Yes. On Shopify, MobiLoud lets you mark products as app-exclusive through metafields, so they are hidden from your online store and purchasable only in the app. App-only discount codes are removed at website checkout and work in the app, on every Shopify plan except Starter. App-only collections, pages and content are managed from your website.

If we switch our existing app to MobiLoud, will we keep our users, reviews and store listing?

Yes. MobiLoud publishes your new app as an update to your current App Store and Google Play listing, so existing users receive it automatically without downloading a separate app. You keep your store presence, ratings and installs. MobiLoud also helps you plan a relaunch campaign with push notifications and promotions to announce the new app.

Does MobiLoud support deep links and native device features?

MobiLoud includes deep links and social login on the Business plan. On Enterprise, MobiLoud can add custom native features and third-party SDK integrations, scoped and quoted case by case for your approval. Hardware-heavy functions such as Bluetooth, NFC and accelerometer access are out of scope, and apps built around them suit custom development better.

Will Apple approve an app built from our website, and does MobiLoud guarantee approval?

Yes. MobiLoud guarantees App Store and Google Play approval. Before the build, MobiLoud checks your website and business requirements so any eligibility issue is discussed early. The team then prepares the app, handles both submissions and addresses review feedback until approval. MobiLoud has published more than 2,000 apps since 2013.

Does MobiLoud offer refunds if the app is rejected or doesn't work out?

MobiLoud does not offer refunds on monthly or annual fees. The one exception is when Apple or Google repeatedly rejects your app because of a MobiLoud platform issue outside your control, in which case MobiLoud refunds the subscription fees paid. Rejections caused by your website, business model or type of business are not covered.

What support and SLA does MobiLoud offer, and can we get a staging app for testing?

Growth includes technical support by email, and Business adds customer success support with onboarding and launch meetings. Enterprise adds a dedicated success manager and a Slack or Teams channel with the engineering team. An SLA is available on Enterprise, with 24/7 coverage for critical issues. Staging apps for your non-production site are an Enterprise option.

Will our customers actually download and keep using a MobiLoud app?

MobiLoud helps customers find and keep using your app, because launching an app alone does not guarantee downloads. MobiLoud guides you on QR codes, welcome discounts, app-only offers and push flows that bring shoppers back. Business adds launch meetings, a promotion plan and smart app banners across your website.

Can we use Klaviyo or our existing CRM for MobiLoud push notifications instead of OneSignal?

Yes, on Business and Enterprise. MobiLoud connects your app to Klaviyo and helps your team set up push campaigns, flows and segments in the same platform as email and SMS. On Growth, push runs through your own OneSignal account. Other vendor SDKs can be added on Enterprise, scoped and quoted separately for your approval.

Does MobiLoud work with Magento, WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce, WordPress or a headless site?

Yes. MobiLoud works with Shopify, Magento and Adobe Commerce, WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce and WordPress, as well as custom and headless sites built on Next.js, React, Vue or similar stacks. The requirement is a mobile-optimized website: if your site works well in a mobile browser, MobiLoud can turn it into iOS and Android apps.

How does MobiLoud pricing work across multiple brands, stores, countries and languages?

Multi-store, multi-site and multi-country setups are on MobiLoud's Enterprise plan. Each app is priced on its own monthly active users, and MobiLoud applies one discount to the combined subscription, shown as its own line, with one contract and one invoice. Each configuration can have its own navigation, language, push notifications and onboarding.
