How long does it take for you to submit my app?

From the moment you sign up and provide the information we need to build your app to sending you a version you can test, we take typically 5-10 business days.

However, the complete process to get your app live typically takes around a month. This timeline accounts for more than just the technical build. It includes important steps like making design adjustments, adding native features, and thoroughly testing the app to ensure it’s ready for launch.

Additionally, your involvement is crucial. You’ll need to review and approve different elements, sign up for necessary accounts, and provide feedback on test builds.

Once the app is submitted, the approval process from Apple and Google can take anywhere from 7-10 days, depending on feedback and any changes requested by the app store QA teams.

It’s a good idea to prepare for your app’s launch with marketing activities and materials, but we strongly recommend not scheduling anything to go live until the app is officially approved by Apple and Google.

The approval process can be iterative, often involving multiple rounds of feedback and revisions, so it’s difficult to predict exactly when your app will go live. Only after final approval should you plan your launch activities.

Do I need App Store and Google Play accounts?

Yes, the apps are 100% yours. You own your user data and all accounts related to the app. Therefore, it will be necessary for you to register your own accounts on Google Play and App Store to ensure your app is approved and you’re in control of it. You can replace the app at any time with a different solution or your own custom app, we don't lock you in. Do you guarantee my app will be approved?

We have a strong track record of getting 100% of the apps we submit approved. While it might take a few submissions, we’re confident we’ll get your app approved eventually. However, should your app not be approved due to technical reasons related specifically to our platform, we will offer you a refund of subscription fees paid (monthly or annual), excluding our set up fees, which are never refundable, without exception. This refund offer does not apply if the approval issue is related to your website, design, functionality, or any specific aspect of your business, such as your activity not being allowed by Apple or Google on their app store.

Do you have a refund policy?

We put a tremendous amount of effort into every app we develop, starting from the moment you sign up. We’re not just offering a tool, but a full-service partnership where our team works closely with you from day one, ensuring that your app is successfully launched.

But your success also requires your active participation and timely feedback throughout the process, and for that we need you invested in the project as much as we are.

Given the considerable time and resources we invest upfront, our fees are due from the moment you sign up, regardless of whether your app goes live in one month, two months, or even three. We take pride in the dedication and effort that goes into every project, and we need our customers to be equally committed to this collaboration.

Because of the nature of our service, we’re unable to take on the risk of refunds. All fees—whether they are setup fees, monthly fees, or annual fees—are non-refundable.

This policy reflects the mutual commitment needed for a successful app launch. By working closely together, we can achieve the best possible outcome for your app and your business.

Why do I have to pay a recurring fee?

You pay a recurring monthly or annual fee because MobiLoud is not just a one-time service; it's an ongoing partnership. Our recurring fee covers continuous updates, maintenance, and support to ensure your app remains up-to-date and performs optimally as your business evolves.

We manage all the technical aspects for you, make any changes to the apps you require, handle any issues that arise, and make sure your app stays compliant with the latest app store requirements.

This ongoing service is essential to maintaining a high-quality app that continues to deliver value to your business and helps you achieve your goals.

Also, we work with you to ensure your app's success, offering our assistance with everything from app marketing strategies to effectively using push notifications to engage your users.

Why is there a setup fee?

The setup fee covers the comprehensive services MobiLoud provides to ensure your app is not only functional but also polished and ready for a successful launch.

This fee includes making necessary adjustments to your website and app so it works seamlessly and feels like a native app. We make design improvements to enhance the user experience and add functionality from third-party apps and plugins to ensure your app meets all your business needs.

In addition to these, we handle all graphic design requirements, ensuring your app looks great on the app stores.

Our team conducts multiple rounds of QA testing to identify and fix any issues, making sure your app is of the highest quality.

We also take care of setting up your app store pages, capturing screenshots, compiling app binaries, and signing the app with the required certificates and provisioning profiles.

Finally, we guide you through the entire process, making any necessary adjustments based on your feedback, and then submit your app to Apple and Google for approval.

This thorough process ensures that your app is ready to deliver a seamless experience to your users from day one, with the highest quality possible.

Can I cancel anytime? If I stop paying does my app get taken off the App Store and Google Play?

Yes you can cancel any time, there are no long term contracts. Your apps will have to be removed from the stores.

What are active users?

Active users are the number of people that download your app and are recorded as active in a 30 day period in Firebase.

Why do I have to start paying monthly fees right from the beginning?

You have to start paying monthly fees from the beginning because we invest significant time and resources into your app right from the moment you sign up. These fees are due regardless of when the app goes live because so much of the timeline depends on actions that only you can take. For example, you’ll need to register accounts with Apple and Google, obtain a DUNS number by registering with Dun & Bradstreet, fill in a form with details about your app, and provide feedback on the test builds we send you.

Our team is actively working on your app throughout this process, and the monthly fees reflect the continuous effort and collaboration required to ensure a successful launch. Billing from the start ensures that both parties are committed and allows us to maintain the high level of service necessary to deliver a high-quality app, regardless of how long it takes to go live.

Do we need to register for Apple and Google Developer accounts?

Yes, we require you to register as a business for both Apple and Google developer accounts. We do not support individual or personal accounts.

To register, your business will need a D-U-N-S Number. This is a unique nine-digit identifier assigned to businesses by Dun & Bradstreet, used worldwide to verify a company’s legal status and identity. Both Apple and Google use this number to ensure that your business is legitimate.

If your business doesn’t already have a D-U-N-S Number, you can apply for one through Dun & Bradstreet’s website, and it’s completely free. The application process involves submitting basic details about your business, such as the legal name, address, and contact information. In some cases, Dun & Bradstreet might reach out for additional verification, such as business registration documents. The process to receive a D-U-N-S Number typically takes up to 30 days, so it’s important to start early.

Once you have the D-U-N-S Number, you can proceed with registering for both the Apple Developer Program, which costs $99 USD per year, and the Google Play Developer Program, which has a one-time registration fee of $25.

We encourage you to initiate the registration process with Apple and Google right after signing up with us, to avoid any hold-ups later. By the time we have completed work on your app, your accounts should be ready to go.
