We invest a significant amount of effort into every app from the moment you sign up. MobiLoud isn't just a tool, it’s a full-service solution where our team partners with you to ensure your app is successfully launched.
Due to the custom nature of our work and the resources involved, we are unable to offer refunds. This applies to setup fees, monthly fees, and annual fees.
The only exception is if your app is repeatedly rejected by Apple or Google due to a MobiLoud platform-specific functionality issue outside of your control. In this case, we will offer a refund for any monthly or annual subscriptions paid, but not for setup fees. However, this does not cover rejections based on your website's functionality, business model, design, or the type of business you operate. For example, Apple and Google have specific requirements around licensing and the types of apps they allow, which are factors outside our responsibility. Similarly, we will not provide refunds when you choose to proceed with a mobile app with us but are dissatisfied with the options offered by Apple and Google around monetization and in-app purchases e.g. If you're unable to use your website's subscription mechanism to sell content in your app.
This policy reflects the shared commitment required to ensure a successful app launch.
You pay a recurring monthly or annual fee because MobiLoud is more than just a one-time service.
The fee covers the ongoing license for our platform and ensures continuous support from our team.
We keep your app updated, optimized, and ready to perform at its best, while also handling all technical aspects like updates, app changes, and ensuring compliance with app store requirements.
It's not just about app updates when there's a new iOS or Android version. This ongoing element is critical for maintaining a high-quality app that adapts as your business grows and your website changes.
Our team also helps you with app marketing, user engagement strategies, and maximizing the impact of push notifications to keep your users engaged and generate incremental revenue.
We cannot guarantee that your app will be approved, but we have a strong track record of getting apps approved across both Apple and Google’s app stores. While it may take multiple submissions, we are confident in our ability to eventually get your app approved.
If your app is rejected and after multiple attempts cannot be approved due to a technical issue specific to the MobiLoud platform (i.e. factors we control), we will refund any subscription fees (monthly or annual) paid, excluding the setup fees, which are always non-refundable. Please note, this refund policy does not apply if your app is rejected due to issues related to your website’s functionality, design, business model, or if your app does not meet Apple or Google’s store guidelines. For example, certain business activities or app types may not be allowed on the platforms, and these factors fall outside of our responsibility.
Yes, if you're not on a contract, you can cancel anytime with a 30-day cancellation notice.
At the end of your paid subscription period, you will close your account, delete the app, and ensure the app is removed from the App Store and Google Play, or replaced by one from another vendor.
We don't offer partial refunds. Once fees are paid, they will cover the full period without exceptions.
Active users are the number of people who download and use your app within a 30-day period. You can track this easily using tools like Google Firebase or Google Analytics.
We charge based on active users for two key reasons. First, it ensures our business model is aligned with your success. As your app grows, our pricing scales with it, meaning we're invested in helping you increase engagement and revenue. We provide ongoing support to help you make the most of tools like push notifications and work with you on strategies to grow your app’s impact.
Second, more active users create higher demands on our systems and support. As your app becomes more popular, it requires additional resources, technical assistance, and system capacity. By charging proportionally, we can ensure that we’re able to maintain a high level of service and support as your app scales, even if you reach millions of users.
Yes, you need to register as a business for both Apple and Google developer accounts. This is so you're fully in control of your mobile app and you own the relationship with both Google and Apple.
To register, your business will need a D-U-N-S Number. This is a unique nine-digit identifier assigned to businesses by Dun & Bradstreet, used worldwide to verify a company’s legal status and identity. Both Apple and Google use this number to ensure that your business is legitimate.
Once you have the D-U-N-S Number, you can proceed with registering for both the Apple Developer Program, which costs $99 USD per year, and the Google Play Developer Program, which has a one-time registration fee of $25.
We encourage you to initiate the registration process with Apple and Google right after signing up with us, to avoid any hold-ups later. By the time we have completed work on your app, your accounts should be ready to go.
Note we don't support individual or personal accounts.
Yes, a contract is required for Corporate plans with MobiLoud.
For Startup and Growth plans, you do not need a contract. You can subscribe monthly and cancel with 30 days’ notice.
Corporate customers benefit from a formal agreement that provides stability, clear terms, and dedicated support. It gives your team confidence, predictable costs, and a higher level of service.
MobiLoud calculates fees based on the number of 30-day active users, as reported in Google Analytics or Firebase. A 30-day active user is defined as a unique device that has opened the app at least once during that period.
Each plan includes a specific number of active users, with additional charges when you exceed the limit:
• Startup Plan - Up to 1,000 active users, with an additional $30 per month for each extra 1,000 users.
• Growth Plan - Up to 5,000 active users, with an additional $40 per month for each extra 1,000 users.
• Corporate Plan - Up to 10,000 active users, with an additional $50 per month for each extra 1,000 users.
We update your plan every 90 days, based on the average number of active users over the previous 90 days. Temporary peaks in user levels due to seasonality or launches won’t impact your subscription.
If you’d like more predictability and potential savings, consider switching to an annual contract. Feel free to reach out to us to discuss this option.
We always use a subscription model because work on a mobile app doesn’t end once it’s live. Apps require ongoing maintenance to keep up with SDK updates for iOS and Android version changes, as well as updates for the App Store and Google Play requirements.
Additionally, key components like push notification and analytics SDKs, along with our platform, need regular updates for security and performance.
A subscription also ensures you have access to support whenever you need it—even years after launch, whether for something as small as updating app store screenshots or more significant adjustments. This model provides the reliability and ongoing service you can count on.
Our payment structure is straightforward and transparent. Payment is due at the time of sign-up and includes both the setup fee for your chosen plan and the first subscription period (monthly or annual).
The setup fee covers the detailed work of configuring your app and getting it approved on the app stores. The subscription fee ensures ongoing support, maintenance, and updates for your app. These costs are clearly outlined in your plan details and are charged when you commit to working with us.
To help you make an informed decision, we offer a free app preview. This allows you to see how your app will look and function before signing up. Once you decide to move forward, all payments are final, reflecting the work our team has already undertaken to create and maintain your app.
Switching to MobiLoud from another platform is easy, and your users won’t experience any disruption. Your app will be published as an update on the App Store and Google Play Store, so your existing users will automatically receive the new version on their devices without needing to re-download or take any action.
MobiLoud gives you full control and ownership of your app and user base. You’ll use your own App Store and Google Play developer accounts, ensuring you stay independent. If you ever decide to move away from MobiLoud, you can take your app and users with you, keeping everything under your control.
We build, launch, and manage everything for you. Unlike DIY app builders that give you a tool and leave you to figure things out, MobiLoud acts as your remote app development team, handling the entire process from start to finish.
Over the years, we’ve learned that businesses don’t just need a tool to build an app. They need a team that ensures their app is successful. A DIY solution leaves you responsible for setup, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance. If something breaks due to a website update or app store changes, you’re on your own.
With MobiLoud, we take full responsibility for your app. We make sure it always works as intended, no matter what changes on your site or in your business. Our team is always there to assist, ensuring the app runs smoothly with a great user experience.
But success doesn’t stop at launching the app. We help you promote it, drive downloads, and make full use of push notifications to keep users engaged and increase revenue. Most businesses don’t have time to figure out app marketing or how to maximize retention through push notifications, so we guide you through the process and ensure you get real value from your app.
We’ve been doing this for over 10 years, have published 2,000+ apps, and know what it takes to build and maintain successful mobile apps. We don’t just get your app live—we stay with you to make sure it drives real results for your business.
We accept credit card payments for all plans. If you’re on a Corporate plan, we also offer the option to pay via bank transfer or invoice.
For most customers, credit card payments are the fastest and easiest way to get started. If you require bank payments and are on a qualifying plan, let us know, and we’ll set it up for you.
You do. The app is published under your Apple Developer and Google Play accounts, giving you full ownership. We manage and maintain it for you as part of our ongoing service.
Nothing breaks and your app keeps running as normal. The 1,000 or 5,000 user mark is only a billing threshold, not a technical limit. When an app grows past that point, it simply moves to the next usage tier.
If you’re on a contract, we can lock in terms so you know exactly what happens as your user base grows, including a clear process for annual renewals.
If you’re not on a contract, we’ll reach out when it’s time to upgrade to the corporate tier. That tier includes up to 10,000 users and starts at $949 per month, scaling at $50 per 1,000 users above.
No. If you cancel, the app can’t remain live in the app stores. MobiLoud is an ongoing service rather than a one time build. Your app relies on our platform, continuous updates, monitoring, and infrastructure to stay functional and compliant with Apple and Google requirements. That includes keeping up with OS changes, updating dependencies, maintaining push notification services, and ensuring the app meets evolving store policies. Without an active subscription, those essential services stop, so the app has to be taken down. You still retain full ownership of your website and all your content.
Yes, the value comes from increasing repeat purchase behavior. Apps live on the customer’s home screen and push notifications reach them instantly, which drives more frequent sessions and better retention than email or SMS alone. Brands see higher conversion from returning customers, better LTV, and more reliable re-engagement. Because you’re not spending six figures on custom app development, the gains aren’t swallowed by build costs. The economics work for mid sized stores all the way up to enterprise retailers.
