About MobiLoud
MobiLoud helps established ecommerce brands turn their existing websites into iOS and Android apps, without rebuilding their product or managing two separate systems.
We work with ecommerce businesses that have real traffic, real customers, and a genuine need for a direct mobile channel they actually own. Our customers use MobiLoud to improve retention, drive repeat purchases, and cut their dependence on paid acquisition and third-party platforms.
We’re a bootstrapped, profitable, remote-first SaaS company founded in 2013. We’ve served 2,000+ brands and have hundreds of active customers today, including Estée Lauder, John Varvatos, Jack & Jones, and Tadashi Shoji. 13 years profitable. We’ve never raised a round, and we never need to. Our team is 16 people, all remote, all hands-on, all trusted to work independently.
The role
Email and SMS still drive revenue for ecommerce brands, but the channels are getting harder to run. Inbox deliverability is tightening, SMS compliance keeps adding friction, and customer acquisition costs keep climbing. A mobile app adds something the retention stack doesn’t have: a direct channel to the customers who already bought, via push notifications. Push reaches them on the lock screen with 70-80% opt-in rates, on top of the brand’s existing email and SMS programs. Some brands recover tens of thousands a month in abandoned carts this way, on top of what email and SMS already deliver. That’s what we sell.
That’s the prospect you’re calling. You own the top of the funnel: cold outbound to ecommerce brands doing real volume, and you book qualified discovery calls onto the closer’s calendar. You decide who to reach, what to say, and how to follow up.
You’ll run a mix of cold email, LinkedIn, and cold calls. We already have prospect lists, enrichment data, and outbound tooling in place. You’ll work from those, layer your own research and judgment on top, and propose new sourcing channels, formats, and angles you want to test. We’re open to trying things. Sequences iterate based on what’s landing.
This is the first SDR focused on the North American market. You’ll work alongside our AE, who handles discovery, demo, and contracting once the meeting is booked. You report to the founder. Your number is qualified meetings held with our ICP.
There’s also a clear opportunity to move into an Account Executive role with closing responsibility once you’ve proven the outbound motion.
What you’ll do
- Run cold outbound across email, LinkedIn, and phone to ecommerce brands matching our ICP
- Work from our existing prospect data, sharpen the lists with your own research, and propose new sources we should add
- Write and iterate sequences. Subject lines, body copy, follow-ups, and call openers are all yours
- Book qualified discovery calls onto the closer’s calendar with clean handoff notes
- Keep the CRM current. Activity, contact data, and pipeline stages all reflect reality
- Test new channels and angles, report what’s working, kill what isn’t
- Coordinate with the closer on feedback from booked calls so the next batch lands sharper
Who you are
- 1 to 3 years in outbound SDR or BDR at a B2B SaaS company, with numbers you can point to (meetings held per month, reply rate, top-of-funnel volume)
- Native or near-native English. You can write a cold email that doesn’t sound like a template and hold your own on a cold call
- Comfortable with rejection and volume. Picking up the phone is part of the job, not the hard part
- You read accounts before you reach out. Spray-and-pray isn’t how you operate
- You’re excited by the idea of shaping messaging, targeting, and what works in the channel. This is the first North America SDR seat, so what you build becomes the template for the next hire
- Comfortable in modern outbound tooling and CRMs. You keep them current without being asked
- You want to go deep on the ecommerce world. The people who close the most meetings are the ones who learn how brands actually run their commerce stack and where mobile fits in
- Ecommerce or DTC selling experience is a strong plus, not required
- Based in the US or Canada. You’ll call North American prospects, ideally with availability across the major US business hours
Why this role
- Clear path from SDR to Account Executive. This seat is the entry point to our closing track. Strong performers move into an AE role with closing responsibility.
- You own outbound end to end, from list to booked meeting. Sourcing, messaging, channel mix, and follow-up cadence are all your call
- Direct line to the founder. Feedback on what’s working comes back same week, not next quarter
- Fully remote, work from anywhere in the US or Canada. No office attendance expectation
Not a fit if
- You expect a finished playbook handed to you. We have data and tooling, but the messaging, targeting, and what’s working in the channel are yours to shape and iterate
- You need close daily management to stay focused. You’ll get weekly syncs and ongoing feedback from the AE you work alongside; the rest is on you to drive
- You only want to send email. Cold calls and LinkedIn outreach are part of the mix
- You want to close from day one. This role is SDR-focused at the start; the AE seat opens up after you’ve proven the outbound number
- You need FT employee benefits (healthcare, parental leave, equity). This is a contractor engagement, not an employment contract. (PTO itself is unlimited - the gaps are healthcare, parental leave, equity)
