About MobiLoud

MobiLoud helps established ecommerce brands turn their existing websites into iOS and Android apps, without rebuilding their product or managing two separate systems.

We work with ecommerce businesses doing real volume that want a direct mobile channel they actually own. Our customers use MobiLoud to lift retention, recover abandoned carts through push, and reduce their dependence on paid acquisition.

We’re a bootstrapped, profitable, remote-first SaaS company founded in 2013. We’ve served 2,000+ brands and have hundreds of active customers today, including Estée Lauder, John Varvatos, Jack & Jones, and Tadashi Shoji. 13 years profitable. We’ve never raised a round, and we never need to. Our team is 16 people, all remote, all hands-on, all trusted to work independently.

The role

Email and SMS still drive revenue for ecommerce brands, but the channels are getting harder to run. Inbox deliverability is tightening, SMS compliance keeps adding friction, and customer acquisition costs keep climbing. A mobile app adds something the retention stack doesn’t have: a direct channel to the customers who already bought, via push notifications. Push reaches them on the lock screen with 70-80% opt-in rates, on top of the brand’s existing email and SMS programs. Some brands recover tens of thousands a month in abandoned carts this way. That’s what we sell.

You own the close. Discovery, demo, proposal, pricing conversations, contracting, getting the signature on the order form. SDRs and inbound deliver the meeting; you take it from there. We’re hiring for closing, not for sourcing, though good AEs also generate pipeline from their own network and from referrals.

You’ll run a UK and EU book of business: ecommerce brands across the UK, Ireland, DACH, Benelux, the Nordics, mostly Shopify and BigCommerce, some Magento and custom stacks. Typical deal lands at a base subscription of £599-1,600+/month recurring (£7,200-19,200+ ACV) plus a setup fee. Cycles run two to eight weeks depending on the brand. You report to the founder and work alongside the UK SDR, the inbound flow, and the CS team that takes the customer post-signature.

This is the second AE seat covering the UK and Europe. The first is in market and producing; we’re scaling up to handle a growing prospect list and the SDR’s pipeline.

What you’ll do

  • Run discovery on every inbound and SDR-sourced meeting. Qualify on revenue band, platform fit, repeat-purchase profile, decision timeline
  • Run customized demos that show the prospect’s own site rendered inside the app, using a preview build we’ll generate for you ahead of the call
  • Build the proposal, the pricing case, and the ROI narrative tied to the prospect’s specific traffic and revenue numbers
  • Run the commercial negotiation. Setup fee waivers, plan moves, multi-year discounts, payment terms - within the boundaries we’ll set together
  • Manage the contracting process end to end. Order form generation, legal review, signature, kickoff handoff to onboarding
  • Layer in your own outbound where useful. Personal-network referrals, follow-up on stalled deals, re-engagement of cold prospects
  • Keep the CRM current. Stage, next step, pipeline, expected close date all reflect reality. Forecast accuracy is part of the job

Who you are

  • 3 to 7 years closing B2B SaaS, ideally in ecommerce, retention, conversion, or martech. Full-cycle closing experience required, not BDR/SDR-only background
  • A real track record. You can name the number of deals closed, the average ACV, your quota attainment, your win rate. If you can’t name those numbers, this isn’t the role
  • Comfortable selling to ecommerce founders, CTOs, heads of digital, marketing leads. You can hold a discovery call with a smart buyer and come out with information they didn’t expect to share
  • You sell on value, not on discounts. The 10% commission only pays out on what closes, so the close itself has to land at a price that makes sense for both sides
  • Comfortable in modern sales tooling (CRM, sequencers, dialers, intent data). You keep the pipeline current without being asked
  • Ecommerce or DTC selling experience is a strong plus. You don’t need to be a Shopify expert on day one, but you should learn fast
  • Native or near-native English. Based in the UK with comfortable EU and Eastern Time afternoon overlap (some North American prospects will land on your calendar)

Why this role

  • Direct line to the founder. Commercial decisions, pricing flexibility, deal review happen in the same week, not the next quarter
  • You sell to real ecommerce brands, not SMBs scratching for budget. Our prospect list includes mid-market and enterprise names; deals like Estée Lauder, Jack & Jones, John Varvatos, and Tadashi Shoji are the kind of logos already in our customer base
  • Bootstrapped, profitable since 2013. No VC pressure to discount to fill a quarterly target; no startup death-spiral risk
  • Fully remote, work from anywhere in the UK. We have no office and no plans to open one

Not a fit if

  • You’ve only done SDR or BDR work and want to graduate into AE here. We have an SDR-to-AE track on the SDR job post; this seat is for someone already closing
  • You sell on discounting. The commission structure rewards win price, not deal volume
  • You can’t speak in numbers about your last 12 months. Quota attainment, ACV, win rate, cycle length should be on the tip of your tongue
  • You need close daily management. You’ll get weekly syncs, deal reviews on demand, founder access same-week, but the close is yours to run
  • You need full-time employee benefits (healthcare, parental leave, equity). This is a contractor engagement, not employment. PTO is unlimited; the gaps are healthcare, parental leave, equity

Takes about 5 minutes. We read every application and respond within a week, either way.

Specifics matter. Numbers (deals closed, ACVs, cycle length, win rates) tell us more than abstract claims. We're hiring for closing, so show closing.
